Text: 1Cor.26-31

"If you are going to blow a horn, blow a trumpet for God."

The best place to be is where God is. The best thing to do is to get involved in what God is doing. It is what you do for God that will last forever. Philanthropy is best practiced in the kingdom of God than anywhere else. Money not invested in God is a wasted money.

If you have money to spend, spend it on God. If you have talent or gift to use, use it for God. If you have any work to do or services to render, work and serve for the glory of God. If you have a trumpet to blow, blow it for God.

The most exciting and fulfilling life is life lived on to God.

Paul declares, "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God" (1Cor.10:31). He says again, "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him" (Col.3:17).

Concern yourself with the glory of God and the interest of the kingdom of Christ! Don't waste your resources on frivolities! Use your horn to blow a trumpet for your God! The sons of Korah said, "For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness" (Ps.84:10).

Adore God and abhor Satan! Your choice of God is the best choice. Better to boast in God than to boast in riches or material wealth. Be a trumpeter for Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit!
