Focus: Clean Hands
Text: Ps.24:4."He that hath CLEAN HANDS, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully."
In Psalm 51:10 and 73:1, the psalmist talks about a clean heart, meaning that clean heart and clean hands so together.
We need clean hands to succeed with God and man.
We need clean hands for greater STRENGTH - Jb.17:9; for REWARD - 2Sam.22:21; Ps.18:20,24; for divine ACCEPTANCE - Ps.24:3,4; for WORSHIP - Ps.26:6; and for required CHANGE or needed repentance - Jam.4:8.
A person of a clean heart and hands will have peace of mind. We can't afford to worship God with dirty hands. Those whose hearts and hands are not clean are ready tools in the hands of the devil. They are agents of darkness who can do anything to hurt others.
It's about time we called on God for moral and spiritual change and cleansing in our lands. Let's do it now!
Clean hands embolden our hearts just as Job has said that "the righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger" - Jb.17:9. Amen.
