Focus: Divine Capital
Text: Eph.4:7"But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ."
*The gift of grace
God has heavily invested grace in each of us. No believer in Christ is bereft of grace. Grace is our divine capital. We deal on grace. The business of heaven has grace as its trademark. All our products have the labels of grace on them. John says, "And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace" - Jh.1:16.
In Christ is fullness of grace and from that non-diminishing, overflowing fullness of grace after grace flows to us. Grace upon grace - or grace in heaps. Grace against grace - that is, as one is being used up, another is taking over, so that we are never short of grace at any time.
We are connected to Christ, and as a result we collect from Him. God gives it; we receive it. It is free grace.
*What to do with the grace of God
We have freely received it and are instructed by Christ to freely give it. The Apostle Peter says we are stewards of the manifold grace of God, and that means that we are dispensers of divine grace to those who are in need of it. We've been licensed and authorized to distribute grace.
Everyone around us needs to feel the impact of grace from us. We are the service providers of the grace of God.
*What not to do with the grace of God
Paul says, "I do not frustrate the grace of God..." - Gal.2:21. And in 2Cor.6:1, he says, "We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain."
Don't frustrate grace, and do not let it waste. It is given for a purpose. So make it serve that purpose.
Grace is a divine ability imparted to us for achieving God's purpose in the earth. Don't waste grace this year. Amen.
