Focus: Doing The Impossible!
Text: Ps.18:29
"For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall."
Every time you are faced with seemingly impossible circumstances, always remind yourself that a lot of people have at one time or the other faced and surmounted the same, and accomplished incredible feats in the process.
Another point worth pointing out is that there are a thousand and one things in this world that you cannot handle without supernatural assistance. God has an inevitable role to play in your life. Impossible things only become possible if or when God is involved. Our text makes this point abundantly clear.
The psalmist says, "For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall." It is by God that he was able to run through an army unharmed, and also by God he leaped over a wall unhurt. In front of his enemies he appeared invisible and invincible. It is written that "A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee" (Ps.91:7). Moses writes, "How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?" (Dt.32:30).
Conquering the odds and accomplishing the incredible requires the exercise of faith. You must believe in God. Faith moves God, and God moves things in your life.
With God all things are possible and to him who believes, nothing shall be impossible. So faith is the key that opens the door of access for God to step into action.
I declare the word to you that by God shall run through a troop and by Him you will leap over a wall. Your testimony will come through! You will look back and see the extent of your deliverance. You will look around you and see what God has done for you. You will look at yourself and wonder how you achieved such a great feat - running through a troop and leaping over a wall without being hurt or harmed.
Doing the impossible involves stepping out in faith and trusting God to equip and help you. I believe you are capable of incredible success and victory in this life. Amen!
