Focus: Evidence Of Divine Encounter

Text: Mt.1:18

"She was FOUND with child of the HOLY GHOST."

The Virgin Mary encountered the Holy Spirit and her life was radically impacted forever. There was a miraculous evidence to show for it. In a matter of months she was found with child. People with real encounters with God have evidence to show for it. People will definitely find out that God has happened to you, and as a result, your life is turned around for good. Mary's meeting with God was private and personal, but the divine effect of it was made public for all to see.

As you know, pregnancy cannot hide forever. In the same way, a man who truly has an encounter with God, will surely show a proof of it in his life. When the mad man encountered Christ, Luke reports that the people "went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and FOUND the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind…" (Lk.8:35). The divine change in him was so remarkable, such that the people who came to see him became afraid. No man remains the same after encountering God.

God gave Jesus Christ to the world through Mary. She gave to the world what God gave to her. Mary, at a great cost, allowed God to pass through her to bless all of mankind. Indeed, there is so much God wants to accomplish through yielded and consecrated vessels. The resurrection of Jesus Christ was made evident or apparent to all by many infallible proofs. God wants us to become proof-producers of what God has done and is doing in our lives. God's touch leaves a lasting mark on us. I pray for everyone around you to find with you the evidence of what God has done in you.
