Focus: God knows what's the best for us

Text: Ps.47:4

"He shall choose our inheritance for us."

The best choice in life is the one you let God make for you. God makes choices for us from the standpoint of perfect knowledge. He knows all the facts about you and understands all of life in its past, present, and future.

God knows and sees all we don't, and knows what is best for us.

God is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. He has infinite knowledge and makes perfect choices. All the facts are already factored into his decisions. He counts the pros and cons, calculates all the indicators, and takes cognizance of the pluses and minuses.

He chooses our inheritance for us and makes our lot fall to us in pleasant places.

The will of God is always in your best interest. He makes choices that are best for you. In his will you find your chiefest joy and ultimate bliss.

Indeed I am content with his choices. What about you?
