"The iron did swim."

A man borrowed an axe-head to help advance the work of God under Elisha, but while he was cutting down the wood, the iron fell off his hand and into the Jordan River. The iron sank to the bottom of the river and disappeared from sight.

Being something borrowed, the man was greatly agitated and wondered how he could repay the loss. Good enough, Elisha was right there with them, and he asked for the particular spot where the axe fell. When told, he threw a stick at that spot, and the iron came up, miraculously, to the surface level of the water. What a great miracle! What a wonderful recovery! "The iron did swim." Just imagine an iron swimming! Wow. This our God is too much! Have you ever seen an iron swimming? How is that possible? Yes, God does impossible things, and the amazing thing is that He does it through us. He used Elisha to do it, whose name means, "God saves!" God saved the day for that young man through Elisha, His servant.

Don't be discouraged when the enemy attacks you because you are letting God use you. You will not lose your 'borrowed iron.' God will make your iron to swim. You won't ever have regrets for doing the will of God. Remember that expression: 'no retreat, no reserves, and no regrets?'

God wants His work or house to become greatly enlarged, and you are the vessel He wants to use.

*For the borrowers of axe-heads, God will not let you lose your iron. You can't lose doing the will of God. You can't fail advancing the purpose of God. Surely God will give you the miracle of a swimming iron.

*For the Elishas, God will honor your faith and use you to realize the impossible in people's lives. God will not cast your name or reputation in a bad light.

*And for the willing, obedient, and devoted, God will advance His work and enlarge His house through your hands. God uses the available, the accessible, and the flexible. Keep letting God use you. Amen.
