Focus: I'll Laugh At Last

Text: Gen.21:6

"And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me."

Today, I bring you a prophetic word from the Lord. I don't know for sure what you are going through or what is happening in your life right now, but the Lord has asked me to tell you that as Sarah testified of God's goodness, even so shall you testify.

The Lord will make you to laugh miraculously. He is bringing the miracle of laughter into your corner of the universe. You are about to breathe a sigh of relief. The Lord will smile on you. His grace will shine on you. Your yoke shall be broken. That testimony you have waited for all your life is already in your neighborhood. God will cause you to celebrate for joy.

It will not be hidden miracle. Surely it will make news. People will hear of it and join you in the celebration of laughter. I don't know how God is going to do it, and it is not my business to know how. Mine is to tell you what God has said and to believe that He will do as He has said.

Your miracle of laughter is here. Your season of laughter beckons. I pray for God to give you a lasting season of laughter.

God has programmed and factored moments of laughter into your earthly existence. The writer of Ecclesiastes says there is "a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance" (Ecl.3:4). God will replace your weeping with laughter and your mourning with dance. Your frowns will give way to smiles. God will turn your mistakes into miracles and your excuses into uses. Gloom will make way for glory in your life.

God has broken that yoke of bondage and sorrow in your life. You are coming out of that captivity, and with the psalmist, you shall say, "Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them" (Ps.126:2).

Eliphaz the Temanite declares, "At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth" (Jb.5:22).

God has prepared a banquet of laughter for you. Surely, your God will make you laugh and your laughter will be contagious. Get set to laugh from your stomach. You will carry your 'Isaac' - whatever it is. You will not only laugh; you will cause others to laugh.

Pray and believe God. It shall come to pass. God has your name on the list of testifiers. With God the impossible is possible. Amen.
