Focus: My Prayer For You (Pt.2)

Text: Rev.3:18

"Anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see…"

My prayer for you today focuses on the EYES. I pray for your sight and vision. The Lord is interested in spiritual optics and deals on spiritual eye drop that absolutely takes care of quality vision. I pray God to make you see the need for His medicinal oil and come to Him for it as the only dealer of the original. Jesus says, "Except a man be born again, he cannot SEE the kingdom of God" (Jh.3:3). O Lord, by way of spiritual rebirth make Your child see what Your government and governance is all about. Make him see and experience the power and glory of Your kingdom and the unique reality of it.

Let "the EYES of your UNDERSTANDING being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints…" (Eph.1:18). I pray for the eyes of your heart to see the true reality of things and for you to embrace God's eternal reality and purpose.

John says, "In the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts FULL OF EYES BEFORE and BEHIND… they were full of eyes WITHIN…" (Rev.4:6,8). 

I pray that you develop spiritual hindsight, insight and foresight as you practice the presence of God and envision the throne of heaven.

Again, John says, "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have SEEN with our EYES, which we have LOOKED upon… of the Word of life" (1Jh.1:1). 

Lord, grant Your child the spiritual capacity to catch a vision of You as the Living Word! Let him be able to SEE the Word!

Again, John says, "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and THE LUST OF THE EYES, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world" (1Jh.2:16). 

Lord, don't let what is in the world to be in Your child! Lord, cure him of lusty eyes!

Let him not be like those "having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin…" (2Pet.2:14). Let fleshly things of this world not have dominion over him! Let him realize that "he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes" (1Jh.2:11). Deliver him from the moral darkness of hate! 

Let him encounter You supernaturally, and as a result, let scales blocking his vision fall off his eyes as it happened to Paul!

"And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose" (Act.9:18). Let him discover and recover a right view and embrace the true value of You!

Like Elisha, I pray, "LORD… open his eyes, that he may see" that those who are with him are more than those who are against him. Lord, it is written, "And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha" (2Kgs.6:17). In the same way, hear my prayer and grant my request!

Moses wrote, "And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward" (Gen.13:14). 

Lord, according to Your word, let Your child see his God-given space in all its dimensions, and let him take possession of it and enjoy his God-given inheritance!

And like Simeon, let his testimony be: "For mine eyes have seen thy salvation" (Lk.2:30).

Lord, do what You said You would do, for it is written of you: "God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes… And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes…" (Rev.7:17; 21:4). Lord, that is emphatic. So do as You have said. Take the tears away and grant Your child the comfort of the Holy Spirit! Amen!
