Focus: Radical Remedy
Text: Tit.2:11
"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath APPEARED TO ALL MEN."
Imagine a situation where a whole family is in trouble and no help is helpful! Suddenly someone comes with a cheering news, and says, 'Solution is here now! Grace has come.' Then the solution is applied and everyone in the family is finally rescued and revitalized.
The Apostle Paul is announcing to Titus that the grace of God has appeared to all men. By using the term "all men" Paul is referring to the whole human family. Grace has appeared to all men because all men need it. Salvation is the provision of grace and all men are in need of being saved.
Grace is God's radical remedy to man's critical malady.
Man's case is that of bondage - bondage to the depravity of sin, death and the devil. Salvation is God's grace meeting us at the level of our common need.
Grace is God:
*Granting us hope
*Redeeming us from bondage
*Adorning us with total beauty
*Changing us radically for good
*Empowering and employing us for His grand design.
Whatever grace touches, it changes. When grace comes on the ugly, beauty results. When grace comes on the weak, strength results. When grace comes on a sinner, a saint is born. It leaves no room for sameness. And grace promotes God's glory.
Welcome God's grace in your life. It is the answer you need. It takes care of every aspect of life holistically. Amen.
