Focus: Yes, Lord!

Text: Mt.9:29.

"Do you believe that I AM ABLE to DO this?... YEA LORD."

Jesus asked this question to two blind men who came in contact with him, and who pleaded with him to help them regain their sight.

Their response is remarkable and faith-inspiring: Yes, Lord! As a result, they left the presence of Jesus with their vision perfectly restored.

They had faith in the ability of Christ to do the impossible and supply the miraculous.

In another story, a leper says to Jesus, "Lord, if thou WILT, thou CANST make me clean," and

Jesus immediately responds, "I WILL: be thou clean" (Lk.5:12,13).

In the first story it is about faith in the ABILITY of Christ, and in the second, it is about faith in the WILL or WILLINGNESS of Christ to work miracle.

Yet in another story, Jesus says, "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth" - Mk.9:23.

Jesus is able and willing to do a miracle in your life, but are you able to believe God? Do you truly believe that Jesus is able?

Every time you face a situation that seems beyond you, turn to the Lord and say, "Yes Lord!" Even now, Jesus is asking you, Do you believe I am able to do THIS for you? Go on, say YES to the Lord. Yes, yes, yes, Jesus is able and willing to lift that burden and help you cross that hurdle. Yes Lord!

Now, say with Paul, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us" - Eph.3:20.
