Text: Num.22:12

"And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed."

Do you believe that you are blessed? Do you know how blessed you are? God has incredibly blessed you. Satan hates the fact that you are blessed. He has done everything in his power to strip you of your blessings. Even now, he keeps attacking you from every corner, using every means possible to keep you out of your blessings. But one thing Satan knows so well is the fact that he is doomed to fail.

Now let's get into the word.

*You are blessed from the beginning

After the creation of man, we read next that "God blessed them…" (Gen.1:28; 5:2). You are blessed.

*You are blessed as a Christian

Paul says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ" (Eph.1:3). You are blessed in Christ.

*You are blessed beyond measure

Moses says, "O Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full of the blessing of the Lord…" (Dt.33:23). Paul says, "And I am sure that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ" (Rom.15:29). You are blessed beyond measure.

*You are blessed beyond the curse

Balaam says, "How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied" (Num.23:8). Blessing and curse cannot coexist in your life. Satan and his cohorts cannot curse you, for God has blessed you. Balak says to Balaam, "What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether" (Num.23:11). You can only be blessed, not cursed. You are destined to attract only blessing, not curse. God says to Abraham, "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee…" (Gen.12:3). I say it again and again, you are blessed beyond the curse of any one. Isaac says of Jacob, "Cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee" (Gen.27:29). After all said and done in the encounter between Balaam and Balak, Moses declares, "Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God TURNED THE CURSE INTO A BLESSING UNTO THEE, because the LORD thy God loved thee" (Dt.23:5). No curse shall come near your dwelling.

*You are blessed for believing

The Lord Jesus Christ says to Thomas, "Be not faithless, but believing… Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed" (Jh.20:27,29). The believer in Christ is blessed.

*You are blessed for being obedient

God says to Abraham, "And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; BECAUSE THOU HAST OBEYED MY VOICE" (Gen.22:18). Jesus says to His disciples, "If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them" (Jh.13:17). In the Greek, the word for 'happy' means 'blessed.' For doing what Christ says, you are blessed.

*You are blessed in all things

It is written, "And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD HAD BLESSED ABRAHAM IN ALL THINGS" (Gen.24:1).

*You are blessed to be a blessing

In Gen.12:3, God says to Abraham, "And in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed." In Gen.18:18, God says, "Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?" In Gen.28:14, God says to Jacob, "And in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed." You are blessed to be a blessing. You are the dispenser of God's blessing, not a depository of it. Allow God to use you. Refuse to be a consumer of the divine blessing. Be a channel of God's blessing to others.

You may be going through stuff right now, but be assured in your heart that you are the blessed of the Lord. Your blessings in Jesus Christ are guaranteed. No curse will ever exist where the blessing is.

I pray for you to experience the reality, ability, visibility and tangibility of your blessings in Christ. Settle it in your consciousness that you are blessed, regardless of how things may seem in the present moment. Your story is changing from now.
