My prayer for you
O Lord, my God, I come before You on behalf of your people. I bless Your name, for Your faithfulness is new every morning and Your compassion never fails. You spoke, and it was done. You commanded, and it stood still. You alone are God from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, and from generation to generation. You are the same yesterday, today and forever. You forgive our sins and heal our hearts. You move our mountains and level our hills. You are limitless in power and pure in holiness. You watch over us and fight our battles. Thank You for who You are and for what You do for us.
Like David, I pray, "And now, O LORD God, the WORD that thou hast SPOKEN concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, ESTABLISH it for ever, and DO AS THOU HAST SAID." Do what you have promised to Your children. Fulfill Your counsel and deliver the oppressed. Make us a testimony of Your fulfilled promises.
It is written in Your Word, "And the LORD VISITED Sarah as he had SAID, and the LORD DID unto Sarah as he had SPOKEN." Your Sarahs and Abrahams wait on You to do as You have said. Confirm Your word in our lives.
Sarah testified, "God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me." Cause Your people to testify of Your glory. Give us miracles that make for laughter. Let others partake of our joy. Let them benefit from our blessings.
Sarah exuberantly exclaimed, "Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age." Lord, cause Your people to be surprised at themselves. Move our lives from the point of explanation to the point of exclamation. Make us wonder till our wonder is transformed into worship. Let the impossible situations of our lives be completely dismantled by Your own doing.
Meet us at the point of our needs. Heal the sick. Set the captive free. Touch hearts and minds. Break barriers and open doors for Your children. Lift the downtrodden and comfort the comfortless.
Revive our souls, renew our strength, and fill us afresh with Your Spirit. Draw us closer to Yourself and make us do Your will. Empower us to do Your work and fulfill Your purpose. Put resources in our hands to advance the cause of Your kingdom in the earth. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear. Get us to go in the direction of Your destination. We yield ourselves to Your dictates. On account of us, our world will not be the same. Our families and friends will feel the warmth of Your love in our hearts. Through us souls shall come to know You and acknowledge You as the Lord.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayers and granting my requests concerning your people, in Jesus' name. Amen.
