Our Spiritual WEALTH
In the book of Ephesians 1 we introduced to the believer's incredible wealth in Christ. Paul says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ" (Eph.1:3)
Paul tells also in that book about the "unsearchable riches of Christ." Jesus tells one of the Churches of Revelation that regardless of their material poverty, that they are indeed rich in his own reckoning (Rev.2:9).
In Rom.10:12, Paul says, "...for the same Lord over all is RICH unto all that call upon him."
In Ephesians 2:4, he says God is RICH in mercy. We have "the riches of his grace," "the exceeding riches of his grace," and "the riches of the glory" in Eph.1:7,18; 2:7; 3:16; Rom.9:23; Col.1:27.
In Rom.2:4, he tells us about "the RICHES of his goodness."
Paul exclaims, "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!" (Rom.11:33). God's treasure house has no bottom, and so in Christ we are blessed and wealthy beyond measure.
In 1Tim.6:17, he says God gives us richly all things to enjoy.
Paul tells us that God supplies all our need "according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Phil.4:19).
We are indeed children of a rich God. We are rich in everything God owns or possesses. We absolutely lack nothing. Our resources in Christ are intangible, untarnished, and imperishable. They are durable riches. Not passing, but unsurpassable and lasting wealth.
They are called "spiritual blessings" because they are accessible through the Spirit.
Let every Christian believer with joy draw from the Wells of Salvation for his own need or use, according to Isaiah 12:3.
